  • Where: Camp Gorsuch
  • When: August 8/19-8/21/2010 & September 9/9-9/11/2010
  • You must attend both sessions in order to complete Woodbadge
  • There is a $50 deposit due at the time of initial registration
  • Full payment due on or before 8/1/2010

 

Qualifications

  • Be a registered member of the Boy Scouts of America
  • Completed basic training courses for your Scouting Position
  • Have a current class 3 physical valid through September 2010

Wood badge leaders

Trained volunteer leadership is one of the keys to a successful Scouting experience. As the core leadership skills training course for the Boy Scouts of America, Wood Badge focuses on strengthening each volunteer's ability to work with and lead groups of youth and adults.

Since its introduction in 1919, Wood Badge has been an essential component in the success of the Scouts. Volunteers who complete Wood Badge training receive a certificate, neckerchief, a leather slide, and two small wooden beads on a leather
