Great Alaska Council Freezeree 2010
February 19, 20 & 21 – Camp Gorsuch
Arctic Winter Expedition
($7 per person)
This year’s Freezeree theme is “Arctic Winter Expedition”. Picture your patrol traveling by “Dog Sled” and surviving in the Arctic Circle of northern Alaska. You must prepare a dog sled with the equipment and the kind’s provisions necessary for this expedition. Consider what you need for your dog sled but the one difference, no dogs allowed. All your dogs ran off, so, you and your patrol are to pull the sled yourselves.
Patrols will compete and be scored in the following events:
1. Sled Race
2. Sled Inspection (equipment, provisions, originality, etc)
3. Fire Building
4. Winter Shelter
